Six years ago I was a stressed-out, anxious, unhappy mom struggling to find meaning in my all-consuming finance career. Try as I might, I couldn’t get excited about helping a multi-billion dollar corporation trim yet another $100 million in expenses from its already sparse cost structure.
A famous expression says that when the student is ready, the teacher will appear. And so it did with me (although at the time, it sure didn’t seem like a lesson I wanted to learn!).
My teacher came in the form of the flu which, like most flu’s, came with a sore throat. No biggie, right? Except that six months later, I still had the sore throat. And chronic heartburn. And an irritable stomach.
Because I am a wimp when it comes to medical procedures, I immediately switched doctors when mine ordered an upper endoscopy (where they stick a camera down your throat. Shudder.).
My new doctor sent me to an acupuncturist, who cured the sore throat and also suggested some dietary changes. But he admitted he really didn’t know much about nutrition.
So, being an avid reader, I headed to my local Barnes & Noble where I purchased and subsequently devoured (pun intended!) many books about nutrition and natural healing.
Being the go-getter that I am, I implemented a BUNCH of changes. And, after about 3 months, pretty much all my digestive issues were gone. I was 15 pounds lighter. My skin, previously red and inflamed with a condition known as rosacea, was so clear my long-time dermatologist gasped when she saw me at my next annual appointment.
My journey from stressed-out corporate finance manager to passionate, self-employed nutrition coach has taught me so much. And so much more than just micronutrients, super foods and website design.
It’s taught me to listen to my gut, literally and intuitively (oh yes, I should have left my finance career much earlier, but I didn’t trust that gut. Now I sure do.).
It’s taught me that the universe sends you what you need, right when you need it.
It’s taught me that combining healthy eating with exercise and self-care such as meditation and massage creates incredible healing powers that leave you feeling AMAZING and looking younger and more vibrant than you could ever imagine.
I am so passionate about nutrition because I know first-hand how powerful it can be. Which is why I would love to share what I’ve learned with you.

I’ve worked hard this last year getting a website up and running, creating programs and writing an ebook. Although I’ve enjoyed these aspects of being a “solopreneur,” they’ve afforded me little time to do what I love the most, which is working with my clients to help them break through their obstacles and create the healthy, happy body of their dreams.
After recently coming to this “aha,” I have completely adjusted my schedule and my priorities to make room for new clients.
